Consumer Reports also named the Hamilton Beach Summit 12 cup BrewStation 48464 as part of the coffeemaker test program and stated the brew temperature could reach 195°F and filling the reservoir, place the filter, gauging the remaining coffee amount, cleanup and clarity of controls was easy. However, consumers themselves said: “Coffee is Luke Warm at best;” “The lid gets covered with water-logged coffee grounds from the previous pot and when you lift the lid to make a new pot, the water runs down to the counter;” and “There’s always water or coffee to clean off the counter. New Year Coffee Recipes
As the New Year continues in its cold winter grasp, having something warm and tasty to drink comes to mind. So, to start off the New Year right, I have decided to offer 2 new recipes. Hope you like them.
Snowy Night Cafe by Hamilton Beach
Directions:
- Pour water into water tank.
- Place filter and coffee in filter basket.
- Brew in a Hamilton Beach coffee maker.
- Place 2 – 3 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk in each mug.
- Dispense coffee into mug and stir.
Serves: Six 10 oz servings
Brazilian Coffee from Folgers
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 can (14oz.) sweetened condensed milk
- 5 cups hot water
- 1-1/3 cups strong brewed coffee
Directions:
Combine cocoa, salt and cinnamon in 3-quart saucepan. Add sweetened condensed milk; mix well.
Slowly stir in water and coffee over medium heat; heat thoroughly but do not boil. This Brazilian coffee may be stored in refrigerator up to 5 days.
Mix well and reheat before serving.

These were the Hamilton BrewStations, the Hamilton Beach model 49315 12 Cup Coffeemaker, the Hamilton Beach Ensembles 43253 and 43254, the Hamilton Beach Classic Chrome, the Hamilton Beach Illusion 44755 and the Hamilton Beach Stay and Go Thermals. All of these come with a warranty. Before you buy, as with all products, you need to know what the warranty has to say. So, I thought you should be able to see it here. Below is the Hamilton Beach warranty.
This warranty applies to products purchased in the U.S. and Canada. This is the only express warranty for this product and is in lieu of any other warranty or condition.
This product (each coffeemaker made by Hamilton Beach) is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. During this period, your exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of this product or any component found to be defective, at our option; however, you are responsible for all costs associated with returning the product to us and our returning a product or component under this warranty to you. If the product or component is no longer available, we will replace with a similar one of equal or greater value.
This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration, abuse or misuse.
