As we all get ready for the Christmas season, we need to take some time to relax after a busy day. To help you relax, I would like to offer you a Seasonal coffee recipe. These coffee recipes include the use of Hamilton Beach coffee makers. For this fifth recipe you can use any 12 cup coffee maker; it’s an easy to follow coffee recipe.
Spiced Christmas Coffee with Brandied Whipped Cream
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup chilled whipping cream
- 1 1/2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon brandy or brandy flavoring
- 1 cup freshly ground coffee (preferably a mild roast such s Colombian)
- 5 teaspoons ground cardamom
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 7 cups water
Directions:
Place ground coffee, cardamom, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in coffee filter. Using spoon, mix gently. Add water to coffee maker and brew according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Divide coffee among 8 cups. Garnish each with a dollop of whipped cream and serve immediately.

Maple Harvest Coffee
Ingredients: Directions:
- 10 Tablespoons ground coffee 1. Pour water into water tank
- Coffee filter 2. Place filter and coffee in filter basket
- Water – to 8 cup line 3. Brew coffee
- 4 cups half-n-half 4. Place ½ cup of half-n-half and 2 tablespoons
- 16 Tbsp maple syrup of syrup in a 10 ounce mug and heat for 30-40 seconds in microwave on 50% power 5. Dispense coffee into mug over heated mixture 6. Stir 2 teaspoons raw sugar, if desired
Servings: Eight 10 ounce servings
Note: For 6 cup coffee makers- ingredients should be 1/2
