This week I have been highlighting products that CoffeeMakersShop.com customers wanted. The Hamilton Beach grinder 80365 is a one touch coffee bean grinder. Its hands free operation makes it easy to use and the five different fineness settings for automatic coffee flavor make it a great value. The settings from course for French press coffee to fine, which is fine enough for espresso machine portafilters. The grinder chamber grinds precisely the number of cup amounts you want from 4 to 12 cups of coffee at a time. It does grind 2 cups of the course grind well, but smaller grind settings work well for 2 cups. In addition, the cover latching mechanism includes an electricity interlock that disables those blades if the cover is not on right and tight when it is plugged in or on battery use; and the coffee grounds do not get in around the lid. The cord storage in the bottom keeps your counter neat and the cleaning brush included does a great job of keeping the grinding blades clean. To clean the chamber, soap and water and then a rinse in the sink will do. Do Not replace it into the grinder until it is fully dry; the moisture can damage the joints of the drive shaft. As for the plastic body, wipe with a clean soft cloth. The stainless steel grinding chamber is removable and is top shelf dishwasher safe.
