The Fourth of July!!!

Happy Holidays to All… And I hope you remember all those who have given there all so that we can celebrate this Birthday. Today is the 235th birthday of our Great Nation. While celebrating all the joys we have to share, I hope it is nice weather wherever you live. Here in the Pacific Northwest the weatherman says it will be in the 70′s. Finally, there will be no rain for at least a week. If you need an iced tea or iced lemonade maker this summer, the Mr. Coffee 3 quart fast brew cycle iced tea maker can be found in the Accessories section at: Coffeemakers Shop.com. Cecilware TB-3 Brewer and Dispenser

To all those who do catering for weddings and other outdoor gatherings in the summer this tea brewer and dispenser is an excellent choice. You can dispense 3 or 5 gallons of fresh brewed iced tea for any large occasion with this brewer. The dispenser can be removed and set in a metal base at a remote “tea station” while another brew is being made.

This two piece design dispenser of seamless stainless steel, a Cecilware exclusive, is half the height of conventional offerings. This permits easier cleaning in food service sinks for pan washing equipment, which typically can not accommodate conventional dispensers. This also prevents contamination.

This brewer comes with a delay timer adjustment that will delay brewing time for 1.5 minutes to 5 minutes for cold water to flow into the brewer after the hot tea begins to dispense into the dispenser. There is also a low temperature lockout system that will not brew the tea until the water has reached the proper temperature. The tea, once it is made, goes through a clear brew funnel with a restrictor that controls the tea flow into the brew-through cover of the dispensing urn. The faucet on the dispensing urn is a Tomlinson no-drip faucet.

The dimensions for the 3 gallon tea brewer and dispenser are 9.25 inches wide by 22.625 inches deep by 29.5 inches high and weighs 43 pounds. This brewer runs on 120 volts on a 15 amp circuit. The 3 gallon all metal base with a second dispenser for this brewer and dispenser is model number B-1/3 and weighs 11 pounds.

Home Brewing Made Easy

3 February;  Author: Coffee-Roaster

tea brewerFor almost five years now I have been what some would call a “tea fanatic.” At first I would just have a cup in the morning, but now I can’t enjoy a meal unless I end it with a cup of tea. As my tea drinking has increased, I have developed an appreciation for premium varieties and the craftsmanship that is inherent in the perfect cup of tea.

Two of the most important aspects in brewing quality tea are the temperature of the water and the brewing time. If you over seep the tea, it will likely burn and taste acidic, while under-brewing will lead to a watered down product. The easiest way to take the guessing out of the equation is with an electric tea kettle. An electric tea will heat the water up to the boiling point and then automatically turn off. If you wait one minute the water will be 190 degrees, which is the perfect tea brewing temperature that always gives you a high-quality cup of tea.
