East Coast Storms Did More Harm Than I Realized
I didn’t know how much damage was done to the east coast until I was talking to someone who had a relative living there. She was telling that parts of the area looked like a war zone. Buildings demolished, power lines down for up to three days and some places longer and all the food crops and plants frozen or destroyed.
When I think about it, I am so thank you for the weather where I have lived. Living in Asia during storms did there damage, but not like what some people endured here. The Pacific Northwest has it fair share of cold weather and storms, but only in the late 1940 was there ever a storm that closed everything down. Four feet of snow that stopped traffic except on major roads. Water pipes stayed cold thanks to the blanket of snow that kept it just above freezing. The refrigerators were emptied, but we had electricity and some source of heat. During all this time, my parents were able to have their stove top drip cup of coffee every morning and possibly one at dinner time. Today, we use a drip coffeemaker with a thermal carafe. Thanks for allowing me to share some old memories

This urn is a 3 gallon size with dual wall, air insulated, electro-polished liners hold coffee between 180°F and 185°F.
