Grindmaster Airpot with Lever Top
The Grindmaster stainless steel airpot with lever tops comes in a case of six. The Grindmaster, 2.2 liter thermally insulated airpot will keep about 14 cups (74 ounces) of beverages either hot or cold for 6-8 hours. These airpots are made for use with Grindmaster models BA-P, AT-AP, B-SAP, B-DAP, GNB-10H, and GNB-20H. For best use these airpots should be preheated prior to use by filling with hot water (either using the hot-water spigot on the machine, or by doing a first “empty” brew cycle) and then emptying the water. They have a cup clearance of 11.5″, so even tall cups can be used with them. Not only is the use of thermal airpots more energy efficient than keeping coffee warm on a hotplate, but the coffee in a thermal airpot will not continue to “cook” (as on a hot plate), so it will retain its original full-bodied flavor without becoming bitter, and without boiling dry. Airpots come with either silver levers on black tops for “regular” or with orange levers on black tops for “decaf” coffee. The lids on these airpots are removable for easy cleaning.
This type of airpot is ideal for serving a variety of other beverages such as hot or cold coffee or cider, hot tea, hot chocolate, hot soup and iced tea. The tops are color coded for regular and decaf coffee, but can also be used as color coding for other hot or cold beverages such as hot tea or cold cider. The height of the airpots is 14.5 inches with the lid closed and 12.5 with an open lid. The airpots 70752-C and 70753-C have an ETL and Sanitation rating. You save energy and quality of your beverage with an airpot.

Decanters, Airpots and Airpot Racks
We have all heard these terms, but how are they defined by the commercial industry. Decanters are for the most part glass coffee containers. When they are used for homes, we call them carafes or glass coffee pots. These glass coffee containers need a warmer of some kind to keep the coffee hot. For household use, some coffee makers offer a warming plate to keep the coffee hot with the coffee maker. For commercial purposes, single double and triple warming plates are available in multiple configurations when the coffee maker does not provide a surface to keep the decanter warm or the decanter needs to be in another place to serve the coffee.
Airpots are vacuum insulated thermo-glass lined containers that maintain the temperature of a hot or cold beverage for up to eight hours. Some have lever or push top to dispense the beverage. These 2.2 liter size airpots fit in airport racks that have a number of configurations and may or may include a place for condiments or a fresh coffee sign.
Airpots also come with a black push top or push lever or come with an orange push top or orange lever to denote either decaf coffee or another beverage such as tea or cider.
All 2.2 liter airpots swivel for convenience to the customer or user such as a waitress.
Last is a 3 liter size airpot. This size only comes with a push top and is used to serve coffee at a remote station or by a server at a large gathering.
